KUTE Student Radio at the University of Utah
5/20/08: You in a band?
Nice, we like bands here.
For our summer semester, we are happy to be hosting bands on a local showcase every Friday from 2 to 4 PM, hosted by last year's station manager, Mick Johnson. This is a great way to get your band's poetic and profound words out into the campus community for free. Be sure to tune in this Friday for our first showcase to see how it can benefit you!
If you would like to participate in this as an interviewee, go ahead and send me an email at sean.halls@gmail.com with the subject [Local Showcase]. Also, be sure to listen in on May 22nd @ 2 PM!
Thank you and good luck!
Sean Halls
Station Manager, K-UTE.

Kute is the student run radio station at the University of Utah. We broadcast on 1620 AM and channel 66 on UTV. But right here and how you can listen to us streaming online. Just click on that "Listen Now" link in the upper left.
This site is here as a service to the students, staff and alumns of the University of Utah. We want this to be a landing place for all things the U.
Visit the Forums under the interact tab on the left to discuss whatever you'd like here at the U. Or visit the DJ blogs listed at the right. You can also head into our chat room to talk live with the DJ in the studio.
We have a great news team headed up by Keith who brings us thoughtful editorial pieces and current events. Nate covers U sports in "The Redzone" as well as the latest in National sports.
KUTE is getting into the community and we want you to be there so keep checking back at the events page to see where we'll be and where it is at.
And always feel free to drop by the studio on the fourth floor of the Union. We'd love to have you in for a chat.
But of course, the best way to get to know us it to start listening!
Whoa, thanks for reading, need more? Feed your mind with the KUTE news section.
